BusyFit vs Seven: which short workout app fits a busy day?

Updated November 1, 2026

The short answer

Both apps are built for short, no-equipment workouts. Seven is the polished veteran: timed seven-minute circuits, an Apple Watch app, friends and achievements. BusyFit is new and narrower, but it does two things Seven doesn't: the iPhone camera counts your reps, and check-ins only arrive when your calendar says you're free. BusyFit also costs less: $24.99 once against Seven's listed $79.99 a year.

Where Seven is better

Where BusyFit is better

What BusyFit doesn't do

BusyFit is iPhone-only, has no Apple Watch app, no video classes and no friends or community features, and its exercise list is smaller than most (about 30 moves). The camera counting is still being tuned across angles, lighting and body types, so it doesn't claim a validated accuracy figure; if it misses reps you can log the set by hand, marked Logged instead of Verified.

Which should you pick?

Pick Seven if you want proven, polished seven-minute circuits with an Apple Watch app and friends, and you don't need anything to check your reps.

Pick BusyFit if you want short strength work that actually gets done on packed days, counted by your phone and timed around your calendar.
