BusyFit vs Nike Training Club: free classes or five counted minutes?
Updated November 1, 2026
The short answer
Nike Training Club is hard to beat on value: it's free, with trainer-led video classes, multi-week programs, gym and home workouts, yoga and pilates. If you have the time and motivation to follow a program, start there. BusyFit is for the days you don't: five-minute sessions that fit between commitments, with the iPhone camera counting every rep so the streak reflects work you actually did.

Where Nike Training Club is better
- It's free, with no paid tier needed for the main content.
- Real coaching: trainer-led video classes, Nike athletes and multi-week programs.
- Far more variety: gym strength, conditioning, yoga, pilates, recovery and mindfulness, plus an Apple Watch app.
Where BusyFit is better
- It fits a packed day. Sessions default to five minutes, and check-ins only arrive in your free time, based on your calendar and class or work hours.
- It checks the work. The iPhone camera counts each full rep on the device; in NTC you follow along and mark the workout done.
- No account and no tracking. NTC needs a Nike Member account, and its App Store privacy label lists location, identifiers, usage data and sensitive info that may be used to track you.
What BusyFit doesn't do
BusyFit is iPhone-only, has no Apple Watch app, no video classes and no friends or community features, and its exercise list is smaller than most (about 30 moves). The camera counting is still being tuned across angles, lighting and body types, so it doesn't claim a validated accuracy figure; if it misses reps you can log the set by hand, marked Logged instead of Verified.
Which should you pick?
Pick Nike Training Club if you want a free, complete training library with real coaches, and you have 20 minutes or more most days.
Pick BusyFit if time is the problem, not content. You want the minimum that keeps you strong on busy days, counted and scheduled for you.
Questions
Is Nike Training Club really free?
Yes. The App Store lists it as free, and Nike says members get free access to its workout content. It needs a Nike Member account.
Can I use BusyFit and Nike Training Club together?
Yes. Mark your NTC days as training days in BusyFit and it stays out of them without breaking your streak. A 20-minute or longer workout saved to Apple Health also lets you take that day as a rest day.
