FAQ
Questions about BusyFit
What is BusyFit?
BusyFit is an iPhone app for five-minute strength sessions on busy days. It plans moves around your schedule, counts reps with the iPhone camera, and keeps a streak of days you actually moved.
How does BusyFit count reps?
It uses the iPhone camera and Apple's on-device body tracking to measure joint angles and count each full rep. A bell plays on every counted rep. Camera frames are never saved or uploaded.
Is the rep counting accurate?
It's still being tuned across camera angles and lighting, so BusyFit doesn't claim a validated accuracy figure. If it misses reps you can log the set by hand; those sets are marked Logged rather than Verified.
Does BusyFit work with Google Calendar or Outlook?
Yes, through the iPhone's Calendar app. If your Google or Outlook account is added in iPhone Settings, BusyFit can read its event times. Only times are read, on the phone; titles and details aren't.
What if I already go to the gym or run?
Tell BusyFit the days you train and it stays out of them without costing your streak. If your training varies, a 20-minute or longer workout in Apple Health lets you take that day as a rest day.
I'm out of shape. Is BusyFit for me?
Yes. It starts from where you are, for example incline push-ups against a table, and adjusts targets after each session based on how it felt.
How much does BusyFit cost?
The first workout is free. After that it's $1.99 a month, $14.99 a year with a 7-day free trial, or $24.99 once for lifetime access (US prices). That lifetime price is less than one month at a typical gym.
Do I need an account?
No. BusyFit works without an account. Your progress stays on your iPhone and syncs to your private iCloud when you're signed in.
Is BusyFit on Android?
Not yet. BusyFit is an iPhone app.
